Mazzanti automobili (formerly known as F&M) was born in the beginning of the new millenium. The principles of the brand are the passion for sports and racing cars, the experience and expertise of complex works of the founder Luca Mazzanti  (initially together with Walter Faralli). His aim was to create cars which in between the many rules, conformity and lack of fantasy were almost lost: cars which are not cold objects for commuting, but which are full of passion and emotion and trigger the people wherever they are.     

Until the end of 2009 the creations of F&M were projected and built inside the atelier of Faralli Restauri. From 2010 the increasing numbers of projects in both sectors lead to the decision to spearate these activities in two ateliers, with strong connection and partnership with one another: Walter Faralli manages  the restoration family company, while Luca Mazzanti dedicates himself exclusively to the development of new supercars and of the brand, which in the meantime became: Mazzanti Automobili.


Luca Mazzanti

Born in the wonderful tuscany, in Pistoia on the 1st of February 1974. Since his childhood he has always been enthusiast of motorsports, he did drawings of cars and modifed models, cherishing the dream of becoming a supercar-builder.
Besides his studies, at the end of the 80’s he starts to work in the family carbody-workshop. From the beginning of the 90’s he collaborates with who later became his real master: Mario Faralli. In more than twenty years he has gained his vast experience restoring some of the rarest and most important cars ever made: Cisitalia 202, Ferrari 500 Mondial, the Maserati 450 Costin/Zagato denominated "Il mostro" prepared specially for Sir Stirling Moss for the 24 hours race of Le mans in 1957.
Quite often he finds himself in a situation, where he has to rebuild completely some cars, where the bodywork has been totally perished and nothing else remained but the chassis and some faded photographs. All this, recreating the shapes from alluminium totally by pure handwork.
Meanwhile his huge enthusiasm for motorsports turns into a passion also for motorbikes, which makes him create a really particular ‘special’ on the mechanics of a Ducati. Besides his love of speed makes him partecipating in many hillclimb races with sport prototype vehicles and Abarth restorated personally.
In 2001 he designs and creates a ‘barchetta’ with Walter Faralli for a client and this triggers the birth of the brand F&M Auto. The constant growth of reputation and credibility through the numerous personal projects made for the clients and particularly his own creations, led to be one of the acclaimed luxury carmakers. During the years the creations of F&M, in meantime become "Mazzanti Automobili", were invited to the most presigious luxury car shows in the world, as in case of the Antas also in some important Hollywood projects.
In 2011, after 3 years working side by side with designer Zsolt Tarnok, Luca Mazzanti has presented the first mid-engine vehicle by Mazzanti automobili, which is projected to be produced in a small series, each example  personalized by the owner, denominated: EVANTRA.

During the year 2012 were made ​​the first real-scale models, the first molds for the production of car bodies, and began the construction of the first unit of Evantra.
2013 has been an exceptional year: Mazzanti has captured the attention of all the main media of the world, by The Sunday Times to Discovery Channel, by Agence France-Presse Al Jazeera and EVANTRA was the revelation of the Top Marques Monaco Show where it was presented in World Premiere. Meanwhile, the 'company has constantly evolved, has doubled the production area of the atelier of Pontedera, bought new equipment and set the framework for the production of new EVANTRA;the company has gained also new important collaborators, new agents in different areas of the world, new important partners and much, much more. At the end of the year Mazzanti began the production of Evantra N°01 and  N°00 was on track for the first test with very good results.
2014 started at full speed with the completion of the 'exemplary n°01 and the official start of the Evantra production.
