On the occasion of the XIII Florence Biennale Art+Design, the new hypercar by Luca Mazzanti was unveiled to the public on 23 October 2021, with the presence of the President of the Region of Tuscany, Eugenio Giani.
Essential, light and fast, in a word “Pure”.
The heart of the Evantra Pura is the new V8 6.2 liter dual injection with volumetric compressor that expresses 761 Hp at 6,600 rpm and a maximum torque of 970 Nm. The engine is coupled to a new 7-speed gearbox with manual control. The car is very light, weighing only 1280 kg, which combined with the power of the engine, pushes it to over 360 km/h and from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds.
Externally, the hypercar is completely renewed. Specifically, the areas of change are the front headlights, the front end, the hood, the mirrors, the side air ducts, the airscoop, the rear lights, the extractor, the exhaust and the oversized wing. Among the novelties there are also the “Mazzanti” grilles: the air intakes are made in a new design that repeats the compass motif, a symbol present in the Mazzanti Automobili logo.
This special livery was specially created by Wrap Road for the XIII Florence Biennale, since the theme of the exhibition is “Eternal Feminine / Eternal Change. Concepts of Femininity in Contemporary Art and Design”. The company was inspired by the Etruscan tradition to pay homage to the origins of the name Evantra; in fact, the Goddess of Immortality is represented on the hood of the car together with the short-toed snake eagle.
Given the peculiarity of the livery, the Evantra Pura will participate in the international contest “Wrap like a king” in which industry experts and technical specialists select the most amazing car wraps in order to nominate regional winners and “Local Wrap Kings” for each continent.
The car was on display until October 31, 2021 at the Spadolini Pavilion, Fortezza da Basso, Florence.
