Every year, the traditional tournament “Calcio Storico Fiorentino” takes place in Florence, a characteristic event of Tuscany that dates from the thirteenth century. During the tournament, the city’s four most popular districts – the “Bianchi di Santo Spirito”, the “Azzurri di Santa Croce”, the “Rossi di Santa Maria Novella” and the “Verdi di San Giovanni” – compete in duels reminiscent of modern rugby and football.

On Saturday, 11th September the final match between Azzurri and Verdi in Piazza Santa Croce (Florence) took place and the powerful Evantra provided a backdrop for this special event.

Although the tournament took place behind closed doors due to the pandemic, the final was broadcast live worldwide, both through streaming and on television.
